Pride is not about a set of colors, it is about being proud of who you are and celebrating through the hardships. It is loving yourself and staking your claim to exist as a person in this world. For so many of us the road to self-love and acceptance is long and hard. As a lesbian identified woman this new Pride Pulse pattern is very close to my heart. I created it to remind me to feel proud with every beat of my heart and to reflect on the long journey. It also reminds me to take a minute to breathe, and calm my heart rate in moments of adversity.
