Shipping policy

Please note that due to our dedication to a fast turn around time and limited staff, we will not be able to change or cancel your order once placed. In addition Shopify no longer refunds processing fees for cancelled orders so unfortunately it makes any cancellations costly for us. 

Standard Shipping

Standard economy shipping typically takes between 5 and 14 business days to arrive in the contiguous 48 states, not including the day of shipment. We typically ship out orders not containing a pre-order item within 2-4 business days. Business days are considered Monday-Friday and don't include postal holidays. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii often take up to 20 business days.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping typically takes 2-7 business days, not including the day of shipment, depending on the size of your package and your region of the country in relation to us in Alabama. Orders including larger or multiple items often take 5-7 business days, and orders with a PO Box address may also take longer. Orders only containing small items or 1 bag often take 2-4 business days. Business days are considered Monday-Friday and don't include postal holidays. We are closed on Fridays. Expedited orders placed later in the week typically ship on Monday.

Economy Shipping

A slower, non-insured option for shipping is unlocked with a $100 spend in the continental USA. Please be aware this shipping does not include any insurance and additional insurance must be added to your cart for any lost or damaged packages to be covered or replaced.

*Expedited shipping does not include Saturday or Sunday delivery.

*We are closed on Fridays, so any orders placed after 10 a.m. CST on Thursday with Expedited shipping selected will not ship until Monday. 

*If ordered after 9 A.M. CST on MTW we will not get out your Expedited order until the following business day.

*Please note that if you purchase expedited shipping, we do not offer refunds for this service if the shipping carrier has a delay.

I must have my order by a specific date. What type of shipping should I choose?

Unless your vacation or event is three or more weeks away, we recommend choosing Expedited shipping. Standard shipping usually takes 4-14 business days (not including weekends or postal holidays), but the timing is unpredictable and may take two weeks or more.

Shipping Pre-Orders

When an order contains a pre-ordered item, all items on the order will ship together, so your other items will not ship until the pre-order ships. If you want an in stock item to ship sooner, please place a separate order! Thank you!  

*Pre-order shipping times for pre-orders are an estimation. You can check the estimated shipping time for your pre-order on the top of the product description on each pre-order product. These estimates are usually accurate within a 10 day range.

Lost Packages

Many times, the post office marks a package as "delivered" a day or two before it actually has been, especially on a weekend. However, if more than a day or two passes, you can start a claim with the postal carrier, or contact us at howdy@sipseywilder.com within 14 days, so we can file a claim. We also recommend calling your local postal carrier, and checking with your neighbors to see if it was misdelivered. 

Delayed Packages

If your package appears to be stuck in transit for more than 7 business days, please file a missing package report with the shipping carrier, or reach out to us at howdy@sipseywilder.com and we can help with that. Often, the tracking does not update properly but the package is actually en route to the correct place, so we do not send replacement packages until at least 14 business days have passed since the expected delivery date.

*Please note we are not responsible for any lost or delayed packages due to incorrect shipping information. Please be careful that all of your shipping information is correct when you place your order. If you have made an error or want to change the shipping location after placing an order, you can contact us at howdy@sipseywilder.com and we will attempt to correct it. However, due to our dedication to a fast turn around time and limited staff, we can not guarantee we will be able to make the change before your order is processed. 

Canceling or Changing Orders

*Due to our dedication to a fast turn around time and limited staff we do not offer order cancellation and can not guarantee we will be able to change your order. We are happy to amend orders if we are able to catch them in time before they are processed, but we cannot cancel orders.

International Shipping:

First Class International shipping usually takes 10 to 25 business days, and Priority Mail International usually takes 8 to 18 business days, but these are only estimates. We cannot control or predict how long packages may be held in customs, or additional customs taxes that may be charged. International addresses must be in English with English characters for our shipping system to accept them.

Insurance Claims:

*We offer lost or damaged package insurance as an add on option at checkout. If you purchased insurance email us at howdy@sipseywilder.com within 7 days of the order not arriving or arriving damaged. We observe a 2 week period from the date the package is reported missing before replacing any missing orders since we have found 99% of the time the package is discovered or arrives late. After this 2 weeks we will resend any insured orders that qualify. We do not refund in these cases, but resend. If your order is damaged email us pictures and information and we will either replace or partially refund the damaged items. Insurance does not cover when there is an address error on the order and may not cover in the circumstance your order is marked delivered and the delivery GPS coordinates are confirmed. Insurance does not cover stolen package claims if the tracking information confirms delivery. This insurance is for shipping carrier confirmed lost/missing packages and items damaged during shipment. If you did not purchase insurance lost, stolen or damaged packages will not be covered. 

*We encourage adding shipping insurance to protect your shipment! We may not cover shipments stolen, lost or damaged by the shipping carrier that didn't have insurance added. Add insurance to a new order here.
